  • parents of enrolled students and current teachers

Intended Impression

“The SIS schools have a local imprint but also a strong and dynamically evolving network. It would be great to be part of this network.”

Periodicity

SIS World is issued once a year in November by the SIS Group. It is published in print with a digital version made available on our websites.

Content

The primary focus lies on the elements of our educational concept, mainly:

  • Bilingual Experience
  • Performance through Diversity
  • Continuity from Kindergarten to College
  • Strong Network

The magazine intends to provide a solid overview of ”The SIS Network” being the first rubric and one of the strenghts of SIS.

The following sections are listed in the first rubric: Facts and Figures, SIS Cup, SIS Interschool Activity, SIS Best Essay Award. This section is followed by the rubric “SIS Locations” that starts with a locations overview followed by one article from each school location. The magazine ends with a list of graduates from all countries and an overview of the head offices.

The following applies with respect to the content of “SIS Locations”:

  • Each school provides a report that is characteristic for the local school life and/or describes a highlight of the past year which is connected to one of the elements from our educational concept.
  • The author and the topic must alternate each year.
  • Both languages used in each country are to be given equal weight.
  • An English summary must accompany texts in other languages than English.
