Since 1999 Logo

Design

Basic Principles

The logo stands for the fact that SIS’ first school was opened in 1999. It expresses that SIS has a long term experience and is playing a leading role in their core area which is bilingual education.

The logo should only be used in particular and well selected opportunities where tradition and expertise are emphasised. It must not on any account replace the SIS logo in a general way.

Referring size, colour, backgrounds, font, and positioning, the same guidelines as for the SIS logo apply.

Materials that use the Since 1999 logo on a country level have to be approved by the SIS Group.

Relationship between Logos

The logo must not be visible together with the SIS logo. On the contrary, on first sight it stands alone and creates a moment of curiosity (“What is this?”, “Who is this?”, “That looks familiar…”). The question must be resolved quickly by displaying the SIS logo in a second step. The Since 1999 logo must not stand alone permanently and thus leave the arising questions unanswered for a longer time.

Examples:

  • In a magazine, the Since 1999 logo is published on the blurb, the SIS logo is displayed on the regular front page.
  • A PowerPoint presentation starts and / or ends with the Since 1999 logo. All other slides come with the SIS logo.
  • On a two-sided giveaway, the Since 1999 logo is printed on one side and the SIS logo on the other side.
  • The Since 1999 logo stands alone on a roll-up in a SIS environment. Other roll-ups or articles with the SIS logo complete the situation.
